OneDrive Storage

Hello chat,

******@notificationemails.microsoft.com sent me an email with notification that my account is temporarily suspended due to the exceeded 5 GB storage limit. It says that my cloud storage will be deleted after a certain date unless I delete files or update my account, so I have deleted files and now my storage is less than 3.8 GB. However, it still states that I am over the storage limit and requires me to pay for an additional storage.

What should I do in this situation?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
M.L.

    Hi Liudmila Loktionova,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

You're experiencing a recent OneDrive hot issue: some users have recently reported in the community that they are unable to use storage in the OneDrive while their storage is still available.

This is a pending fix for a storage space validation exception, and I'm sorry to hear that this is happening to your account as well.

This is a support community and is not authorized to directly fix or check your account to investigate the issue, the proper way to submit a case and report this issue is to get in touch with the OneDrive support team directly.

You can send an email to the OneDrive support team by clicking the link below: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=528676P.S. Before clicking on the link, you need to visit onedrive.live.com with your browser and sign in with your Microsoft account, and then clicking on the link will automatically redirect you to the OneDrive webpage to send an email.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Best regards
