Cannot open Word.

I cannot open my desktop Word program. I can open Outlook and One Drive. I enter my login and the screen goes black and goes back to the login page. I have had Geek Squad work on this for 2 hours. We repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled, license is up to date etc..... HELP

    You can try a manual uninstall. It may be a time-consuming process, though. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manually-uninstall-office-4e2904ea-25c8-4544-99ee-17696bb3027b.

    Before you reinstall Office, run the System File Checker. For more information, have a look at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-file-checker-in-windows-365e0031-36b1-6031-f804-8fd86e0ef4ca.

    The instruction above did not work. Same exact issue persists. Microsoft needs to find a way to fix this. I cannot access my documents.

    Remove all traces of the Office installation by downloading the fixit from the following article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

    saving it to your computer and then running it.

    Then, after re-starting your computer, reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and click Install Office.
