Hi Farida Zulkifli
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I realize that you've encountered a problem with " Adding Tasks Table in Loop ", and I understand how you feel. Don't worry, I'll do my best to help you.
Are you using a personal or corporate account for Loop? Are you experiencing this issue on the web version or the desktop version? If possible, I would appreciate it if you could provide a screenshot of the issue, as this would help me better identify the problem. In the meantime, you can follow these suggestions for troubleshooting:
When using Loop and unable to add a task board in a loop, it is typically due to the following reasons and solutions:
- Feature Limitations: If you are using Microsoft Loop, it might be that the current version of Loop does not support creating a task board in certain areas (such as within a loop or page). Some features may require specific permissions or feature settings. Solution:
- Check if Microsoft Loop is updated to the latest version. Some features might only be available in the latest version.
- In the Loop page, try using different layouts or components to see if you can add a task board (e.g., using the "Task List" or "To-Do" components).
- Permissions or Account Settings: Your account might not have the permissions to add a task board in the document or page. Especially in team collaboration or shared documents, some permissions (e.g., "View" permission instead of "Edit" permission) may restrict you from adding or editing a task board. Solution:
- Confirm whether you have sufficient permissions. Check the sharing settings of the document or page to ensure you have editing permissions.
- If it is a team member's shared page, contact the administrator or page owner to confirm whether you have the permissions to add and edit task boards.
- Browser Compatibility or Cache Issues: Sometimes, browser cache or compatibility issues may cause certain features to not display correctly. For example, Microsoft Loop might not display fully or be incompatible with some browsers. Solution:
- Try clearing the browser cache or using a different browser or device to access Loop.
- If you are using the desktop app, try logging out and logging back in to see if the task board display is restored.
- Version Issues or Update Delays: If you are using Microsoft Loop or similar tools, some features might be rolled out gradually to certain regions or user groups, so your version might not yet have these features. Solution:
- If the above methods do not work, try updating the app or checking the update log to see if new features are available.
- If you are using Loop through Microsoft 365 or Teams integration, confirm with the company's IT department whether there are any version or feature restrictions.
Feel free to share updates with me on how things are progressing after you've completed the aforementioned steps. Should you have any questions or require clarification, do not hesitate to reach out to me. I‘d like to do my utmost to assist you.
Best regards
