How do I edit a protected document

My workplace has a document that we all edit each morning to be added to a list for the day. My partner and I always used it from my Samsung phone with no issues. The admin made a change to protect the document somehow, and now we can't edit it at all. She says no one else is having the same issue, but we are both locked out. Admin suggested it is a setting pn our phones. What should I be looking for?

This is design limitation. When a worksheet set protection on it, all the cells will be locked if you edit it from Phone/tablet.

You may try opening that file from browser on your phone to edit it.
