When I use the dropdown list in Excel, after selecting an element, I can only get the value of that element in the original cell, but not the format. Is it possible to get both the value and the format at the same time, or is it impossible?

Use a conditional format (CF). For instance, if the options in the drop down list (ddl) are Yes and No and the font should be green and red respectively, set-up two CF (one for each option) rules and apply them to the range where you use the ddl's.
