Embedded Loop Component - hide sidebar and focus mode

Hi everyone,

I couldn't seem to find any documentation embedding Loop and the possibilities, so I'll ask here.

Question: can we, in the embed code, hide the sidebar with the hierarchy?

When opening our SharePoint, the Loop component directly shows us the sidebar with all other pages, but this takes up a lot of space when showing components in SharePoint since (as far as I believe), SharePoint's width of showing text can't be changed.

Other question, but I don't believe this exists: Is there some kind of way to show the Loop Component without all those buttons or the header? Like Focus Mode of Power BI.

Thanks!

Hi Boender,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

I go through your post carefully. Regarding your question, I have tested and searched a lot. Frustratingly, I didn't find any out-of-box methods and parameters that correspond to the sidebar or enter a focus mode for Loop component. In this case, we welcome community members to share ideas about the situation if one has related experiences.

I understand the inconvenience this causes. Personally, I think it would be a good idea to be able to add built-in options to allow for customization of the Loop's views in the embed code, like the Embed feature for Office documents, which would enhance the user experience. In this case, I recommend you send your feedback to the Loop Product team as they constantly check customer reviews and feedback. And a lot of the features are developed and improved based on customer feedback.

I suggest you vote for the following feedback in the Microsoft Feedback Portal where other members also post feedback and vote. The higher votes, the more attention the related team will pay on.

Appreciate your patience and understanding, and Hopefully Microsoft will make improvement soon.

Hope you having a nice day.

Sincerely,

George| Microsoft Community Moderator
