365 Basic expiration notice

Anonymous

I got the email: "Your Microsoft 365 Basic subscription will expire on January 1, 2025. After this date, you will lose access to all the features provided by Microsoft 365 Basic."

Well, that is a bit rude. I have recurring payment enabled with a valid card. Is there something else I should do?

Hi BillWells

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Yes, this notification should just be a reminder that your subscription is about to expire, you don't need to care about it.

Have a good day! Keep a good mood.

Best regards

Hi BillWells

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I realize that you've encountered a problem with " 365 Basic expiration notice ", and I understand how you feel. Don't worry, I'll do my best to help you.

According to your description, is your problem that Microsoft 365 Basic does not renew automatically for you regularly? I noticed that there is still some time before your subscription expires. You can wait a little longer and it may be automatically renewed for you in the next few days. You can also try to add another bank card to ensure that the subscription can successfully initiate automatic payment. Finally, I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by this email. If you still have problems in the future, please let me know in the reply and I will continue to help you.

May the new year bring you new opportunities and hope!

Best regards

Yes, I will wait, and assume Microsoft 365 Basic will renew automatically.

I thought the notice wording was a bit rude, bluntly threatening: "...you will lose access to all the features provided by Microsoft 365 Basic". The message could have just pointed out that my subscription was going to be automatically renewed.
