OneDrive search continues not functioning.

I posted this question a week ago and someone kindly pointed out that it was a hot topic and Microsoft was working on it.
This regards the OneDrive.live, the online folders. Not the one drive personal folders.
It renders OneDrive useless. There is no indexing option under settings on the live site nor in the app.
All folders (Here the MyFiles folder) report back that the folder is empty. It is not, as the second view of the Home page shows.
There is no option to index files online or from the desktop app. Is everyone dealing with this?
It would be nice if Microsoft would deal with existing problems, rather than constantly pushing CoPilot, which is nothing but an annoyance.

    FWIW The OneDrive folder in file explorer has the same content as web access, its the same data

    Personally I dont remember the last time I used web access
