WSL: No Write Access to Certian Folders in Windows User Profile Folder Regardless of Permissions Set

In WSL, I'm unable to write to my "Videos" folder in my Windows user profile (at /mnt/c/Users/UserProfile/OneDrive/Videos in WSL) however all the other folders in my user profile seem to have full read-write access, such as "Downloads" or "Documents"

The permissions for all the folders in my Windows user profile seem to be the same in both linux (all set to 777) and Windows (all set to "Full control"). Yet the Videos folder, and seemingly ONLY the Videos folder, is read only.

Attempting to write data will either say permission denied, I/O error or file not found.

    Hello Nabeelr,

Could you check that you haven't add the folder to Restricted Folders by mistake? Check in:
Windows Security, and click/tap on the Virus & threat protection icon
Click/tap on the Manage ransomware protection link under the Ransomware protection section
Click/tap on the Protected folders link
Click on the folder then the button Remove will appear

About WSL, not an expert, but I would check the access permissions for itself:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/file-permissions

    Hope this helps,
    Best regards,
