The default color on my printed text has changed to white (not on a dark background.} On every document- for weeks. This is not very helpful. I don't know how to change it.

Which version of Word are you running? If you have the full Windows version, try the following: In the Font dialog box (Ctrl+D), change the Font color to "Automatic" or "Black" and then click the Set as Default button. When prompted, choose the "All documents based on the <template name> template" option. In most cases, the Normal template will be suggested (unless you created your document based on a specifically chosen template).

Later, if/when you are prompted to save your template, choose to do so.

Note that the new defaults will apply to the current document and to future documents based on your template. Existing documents must be dealt with separately.
