Good day
We have Azure AD already setup, but then created an on-prem AD. Kept the on-prem with the same domain as the cloud one. Synced using Azure AD connect. However, we can see test users when we create them through the on-prem AD. The already created cloud users haven't synced to the On-Prem AD. We have setup this as a hybrid setup, with the hopes of adding 2 servers on-site to Azure AD.
Synchronization is one way only, from on-premises AD to Azure AD. Not the other way around.

Thank you for the quick update. If I then needed to add some local servers on-site to Azure AD. What would be the best way to do that? Windows 10 machines add perfectly fine, but I have 2 server 2016 machines that I need to add to Azure
What exactly are you trying to achieve here? Azure AD is not a replacement for on-premises AD, there is no concept of "servers". If you want to extend/replace AD, take a look at Azure AD Domain Services: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-domain-services/overview
