Hyper-V import

Hello. I have created a virtual machine Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB in Hyper-V on a host Windows Server 2019.
Hyper-V Manager version in this case is 10.0.17763.1.
Everything works fine.
I export this VM and import it for a test on a host with Windows 10 Pro 20H2, where Hyper-V version is 10.0.19041.1.
Everything works fine again.
Then the final machine host arrived and it is a Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB, where Hyper-V manager is 10.0.14393.0, a little older than the other version of Hyper-V manager mentioned above. When I try to import the VM Huper-V manager does not recognize it as a Hyper-V virtukal machine, it says "no virtual machine files found".
I tried to update windows on my host but the Hyper-V Manger remains 10.0.14393.0. I'm quite desperate... Anyone has some idea to fix it? Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

It may due to its not compatible with backward version of Hyper-V xml configuration.

Alternatively you can create new VM and attach the vhd from VM which you want import.

Please also have a look below Microsoft article which may help you.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I tried the suggested trick to create a new machine and use the existing vhd disk, but I obtain a windows 10 without none of my installed application inside, that is to say useless.
