    Dear C Mee,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with opening files, and you are getting the following error - Unknown render failure. I deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial response may not resolve the problem immediately. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, for further troubleshooting, could you please provide the information below:

    1. May I know if you have checked whether the issue persists in a different browser or in private or incognito mode?
    2. May I know if the page contains a large number of items?
    3. May I know if you have any custom scripts running on the page, and if you have tried disabling them temporarily to see if the error resolves?
    4. Could you please provide a full screenshot of exact error? You can upload the screenshot using this feature:

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    1. May I know if you have checked whether the issue persists in a different browser or in private or incognito mode? Yes, it still persists with different browsers and incognito mode.
    2. May I know if the page contains a large number of items? The page does contain a lot of fileshttps://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/7fa7ea16-7a40-488c-83fd-85c35a78db1f?platform=QnA"https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/396dc29a-be18-4aa9-82c0-66f5fa31cc62?platform=QnA" title="filestore.community.support.microsoft.com" rel="ugc nofollow">

    Hi C Mee,

Good day! I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for your prompt response. I would like a bit more information so that we can further narrow down the issue.

Since you mentioned that the page has uploaded files, are you using the library web part or something similar? If yes, could you please try to remove that web part and re-add it?

Could you please let me know if you have tried to open the upload files directly from the document library they are uploaded to? If the issue still persists, could you please check if you don't have a custom required column in the document library and also try to download the file to see if you can access it on your local machine?

Additionally, could you please provide a full screenshot of the page and document library?

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,
