    Hello @Raghu CV (Hitachi)

Have you stored Bitlocker recovery key or PIN to anywhere,

Can you reboot and try to enter with recovery key if you are able to access it.

    Hello @Raghu CV (Hitachi)

    Additionally,

I would suspect of some security software that is monitoring and preventing changes to your system. Encryption might be sometimes detected as act of malware and some software may be over zealous.

I would recommend to temporary disable all services that are Non-Microsoft (from msconfig > Hide Microsoft Services > Disable all) and explicitly turn off any real time security. Just to increase your safety, you can temporary disconnect your computer from the internet during the process of encryption.

Otherwise, it could be some difficulties with the TPM processing, so try disabling TPM 2.0 in your BIOS and use only TPM 1.2 (**save your BIOS profile before making any changes, in case you want to load back)

Hope this helps in your case,
    Best regards,
