    Hello BC000,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Shared folders showing up as shortcuts and opening in OneDrive.com may have something to do with a known issue with OneDrive, a bug that the OneDrive team is working on trying to fix, refer below:

Add and sync shared folders to OneDrive for home - Microsoft Support

If you are unable to create a shared folder or open a folder shared by someone else, you can provide more information so that we can better understand the exception.

What platform is this on, Windows or Mac? how did you create it, and what is the exception when you try to create it and are there any errors reported? You can share the screenshot of the creation and access to the page.

If this only appears in the OneDrive App, try relinking OneDrive

Also, when you refer to the following method to create in OneDrive Web, as the same cannot create the shared folder?

Share OneDrive files and folders - Microsoft Support

When we receive your letter, we will provide further support based on the information received.

    Best regards,
