Hello Lavi Reddy,   Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for your interest in Microsoft products. According to the official guidelines, registering for the Power BI service indeed requires a work or school account. Please refer to: Sign up or purchase Power BI as an individual - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

This is primarily to ensure data security and ease of management. Here are a few reasons:

    • Data Security: Work or school accounts are typically associated with an organization's security policies and data protection measures, ensuring better protection of data during transmission and storage.
    • Management and Collaboration: Using a work or school account makes it easier to share and collaborate on data and reports with colleagues or classmates, enhancing team efficiency.
    • License Management: Through work or school accounts, organizations can more easily manage and allocate Power BI licenses, ensuring each user has appropriate access.

Even though we can't help you bypass this restriction, there's a dedicated Power BI community where users and support staff can offer more specialized advice on Power BI subscriptions and usage.

Thank you for your understanding and support!
