Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
The "Disable" option seems appropriate in this case (although the device isn't actually lost).

I am the MS365 Admin for my small business. I have an MS365 Business Premium subscription.
One of my laptop computers died. I'm still operating other computers on the account. I want to delist it as a device, which will simplify the listing of devices and more importantly free up that copy of MS365 to keep below the 5-installation limit. It fully died - don't have access to the old computer.
When I get to the Devices screen and click on the computer, it offers only two choices: "Disable lost device" and "View Bitlocker keys" There is no choice for "delete"
**I am not looking to delete a user or account - only delete a particular computer.
Please - can someone guide me step-by-step to doing that?

Hello, Stefan -
When I follow the instructions and get to the "Devices" page, it does not list "Remove" as a choice, Only two options are listed, "Disable lost device" and "View Bitlocker Keys."
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
