Format Microsoft Forms - Printing Replies

Hi,

I made a quiz in Forms. I want to print the replies, but the formatting makes it a massive task and waste of paper.

There are only 1-2 questions per page, especially if there is an image in the question.

Look at this exported reply PDF, 1 question on an entire page:

Questions without images are slightly better, but still not very good.

Here is a text-only question, 2 questions per page on the exported reply PDF.

Printing multiple pages of the PDF per actual paper page in the usual way all files can be printed has such small text it becomes unreadable.

But this 40-question quiz is more than 20 pages to print the reply.

How can I optimize the printing of replies for MS Forms? Open to suggestions about formatting the form, and/or the exported PDF.

    Dear Carolina Jud,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. I am happy to help you.

I did notice this phenomenon, and I found that currently Forms can't print responses to responses directly, but instead needs to print through the browser's print function, which I think is the main reason for the poor print results. The only thing I can set in my test so far is the paper size, but I think it may not be up to expectations for the display.

I understand that Form is unable to print the response page directly, which has caused you great inconvenience. Thank you for understanding that as a moderator of the forum, I do not have permission to directly add this function, for which I sincerely apologize.

I completely agree with you, this is indeed a great addition to the current functionality of Forms, thanks for pointing this out. Microsoft is constantly working to improve the functionality of its O365 products, and such suggestions are greatly appreciated. You can go to Microsoft Forms · Communityto post this.

The reason I ask you to submit feedback in the feedback forum is that Microsoft developers are constantly watching the comments in this forum, and only they have the permission and resources to extend the functionality of Forms, which I also hope to see in the near future.

What`s more, I also tried using the screenshot tool and retrograde screenshot and then printing the picture to PDF, I think this effect may be better, you can scale the page and adjust the size of the page display to control the display problem. I thought this might help you as a Workaround for a while:

Thanks for your cooperation. Merry Christmas to you.

    Sincerely,

    Tin | Microsoft Community Moderator
