You are trying to sign in to a school account that you have signed up for in the past.

It says to do two-factor authentication, but I changed my current phone number,

Authentication is not possible.

Can I log in after disabling it?

    Dear Allen Poll

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I know the scenario you are meeting. For this, you need to contact your admin to disable MFA or change MFA method or phone number for you in admin center. Here is the reference: Set up multifactor authentication for users - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn and Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication | Microsoft Learn . If you choose disable MFA for you, you can log in your account just with account and password.

Hope this can help. If there is any update, please feel free to let me know. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    Katherine
