Unable to recover - Please check your internet connection and try again

I'm trying to recover my authenticator app accounts to a new android phone from a backup, but I get an "Unable to recover. Please check your internet connection and try again" message. I am on my WIFI.

    Just to follow up, I turned off WIFI and tried again and received the same message. I then tried with the cellular network turned off and WIFI enabled and that failed with the same message. The app still works on my old android phone.

    I also made sure that the app had all correct permissions enabled.
