I am trying to create an event entry form - where the users look up their name and select it for entry. The form would take first and last names, and pull data from an excel - is this possible?

    Hello,

No, Microsoft Forms cannot directly pull data from Excel to pre-populate or offer lookup-based fields like a dropdown that dynamically references an Excel file.

However, if you have Microsoft 365 business premium or higher tier of license, you can create the Power App form, connect it to an excel to pull data into a dropdown. It is still not a look up, but more of feeding data to a dropdown.
