Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hello, Soentjie Gomes Xavier
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Changing your Microsoft Store region is a straightforward process, but it's important to proceed with caution. Altering your region can impact your access to certain apps, games, movies, and even your Microsoft account balance. Therefore, it's advisable to change your region only if you're relocating to a new country or region for an extended period.
For Windows 11 Users:
- Click on the Start button and select Settings.
- Navigate to Time & Language and then choose Language & Region
- Under the Country or region section, select your desired region from the dropdown menu.
For Windows 10 Users:
- Click on the Start button and select Settings.
- Go to Time & Language and then select Region.
- Under the Country or region section, choose your new region from the list.

Changing Your Microsoft Account Region Online:
- Visit the Your info page of your Microsoft account dashboard and sign in.
- Select Edit profile info.
- From the Country or region dropdown list, choose your new location.
Troubleshooting:
If you encounter issues when attempting to change your region, consider the following:
- You may have changed your region within the last three months.
- Your account might be suspended due to issues like an expired credit card on a subscription or an outstanding balance.
- Age restrictions: If you're legally a minor in your current region but not in the new one, or vice versa, this could prevent the change.
Remember, while changing your region can provide access to region-specific content, it's essential to be aware of the potential impacts on your existing services and subscriptions.
