Excel: Run-Time Error 9 Subscript Out of Range

Hi

Our School uses SIMS.net and we have one report that I run regularly. Each time I run it I get the Run-Time Error 9 message. I flagged this up with our SIMS support and they told me to locate Tempsimsrpt folder and empty it. I have to do this each time I try to run it - sometimes it fixes it but sometimes it doesn't. Is there another solution please? I am not an IT person so need basic help.

Thanks

Caroline

    Caroline,

Upload your file with which you generate the report here, I'll take a look.

    Caroline,

Where do you click to generate the report?

Make a screenshot so that I can see where's the button and in which application and post it here.

    Hi

In SIMS.net I go into report/run report. I have lots of reports that get automatically imported in and they're all fine, it just seems to be this one. I've put a screenshot below. The report then outputs to Excel. I enable macros and then I get the message as shown in second screenshot and I get this each time. Originally if I deleted the items in tempsimsrept file on the C drive, the report would run, but now it doesn't. Thank you!

    Okay,

the question is where is that stupid macro...

Please try a different (short) report that works. If you save the report excel file, do you have to save it as macro file (with .xlsm as extension)? If so upload that file to my dropbox.

With the report excel file opened, click File \ Options \ Add-Ins make a screenshot from that window and post it here.

    Andreas.
