Hi Everyone,

I have created a Copilot Agent that is SAP specific. The process fails due to errors indicating a Facebook/ Direct Line Connection and more (refer attachment - Chatbot_Channel_Names_Error) is being blocked.

I have refered to the Settings and could not find any option to disable or remove the connections.

Can anyone please help in this regards?

    Hello Sharandip,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

Based on the behavior you've described, this issue is likely caused by Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies configured in your environment. These policies can restrict which channels (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Direct Line, Facebook) are allowed for agent publishing in Copilot Studio.

    You may consider these workarounds:

    1. Check DLP Policies in Power Platform Admin Center
An administrator can review and update the DLP policy by navigating to:

    • Go to Power Platform admin center
    • Navigate to Data Policies > Select the policy applied to your environment.
    • Under Connectors, check if Facebook or Direct Line are listed under the “Blocked” or “Non-Business” group.
    • Move them to the Business group or remove the restriction if publishing to those channels is required.

Note: You’ll need admin permissions to modify DLP policies.

    2. Channel Configuration Limitation
Copilot Studio requires at least one active channel to publish an agent. If all channels are blocked, the “Publish” option will remain disabled.

    • Go to your agent in Copilot Studio.
    • Open Settings > Channels.
    • Confirm that at least one supported channel (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Website, Direct Line) is enabled

    3. Environment Type
Publishing agents is only supported in environments with proper configuration:

    • Ensure you're working in a Microsoft 365 Business or Education tenant.
    • Confirm that your environment has Copilot Studio enabled and that your user has the necessary license.

If you're unsure, contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to verify your environment setup and licensing.

I hope this information helps clarify the situation and guides you toward the next steps. If you have any updates or need further assistance with the transition, feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
