    Hello Mauro,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

I understand you're encountering error code 8004de44 when attempting to log into OneDrive.

This particular error typically relates to network connectivity or credential issues. As an interim solution, I would recommend accessing your files through the web browser by visiting onedrive.live.com. You may navigate to "My Files" > "Personal Vault" to verify whether your documents are accessible there.

Regarding the OneDrive application on Windows, I suggest clearing your credential information before attempting to log in again. Please click the Start menu, search for "Credential Manager," and remove any Windows credentials associated with your OneDrive account. Afterward, restart the OneDrive application and attempt to sign in once more. Additionally, you might consider switching to an alternative network environment, such as a mobile hotspot, to determine if the issue persists.

I hope this guidance proves helpful. Should you experience any updates or progress, please don't hesitate to share them with me.

    Best regards,

Huy-K | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    Hi Huy,

I agree with your diagnosis and all received instructions.

However, again I cannot resolve my complicated problem which appears to be associated with past connectivity.

I need manual help from Microsoft to explain what happened after having installed a new Microsoft 365 family package less than a month ago.

    I thank you all

    Best regards

    Mauro

    Hello Mauro,

Thank you for your detailed follow-up and for confirming the steps you've already taken.

I understand how frustrating it must be to still face issues accessing your OneDrive Personal Vault, especially after installing a new Microsoft 365 Family package. Since the problem seems to be linked to past connectivity and possibly account configuration changes, I recommend the following next steps to get you the manual assistance you need:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support Directly: For personalized help, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/contactus and select OneDriveas the product. You can request a call back or start a chat session with a support agent who can securely access your account details and assist you remotely.

Before reaching out, please have the following ready:

    - Microsoft account email address
    - Details of your Microsoft 365 Family subscription (purchase date, email used)
    - Any error messages or screenshots (like the 0x8004de44 code)

We truly appreciate your patience and your efforts so far.
