Hello,

I'm trying to purchase: - 65 Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024 Boxed licenses (MAC and Windows). - According to our past experiences with MS Office app license installations per user/computer, only 20-25 licenses were allowed per one Microsoft account (email). For example: ******@conteso.com was only able to install 20-25 MS Office app licenses on 20-25 computers, and then after that we had to use a different account/email to install another 25 licenses. Is there a different way of applying and installing these 60 MS Office home & business 2024 without having to use multiple accounts, and just use one account? And no, we do not want to purchase MS O365.

Hi, sorry, No. The maximum number of licences you can use with one Microsoft Account is 25. I would not recommend using more than 20.

Also, Microsoft has removed the licence Key (Product Key) from https://account.microsoft.com/services so there is no way to identify which version is on which computer!!

I suggest that when you redeem your Offices on each computer that you record the, Last 5 characters of the Licence Key (using CMD), and the Product Key so that you know which is which:

PS see: Get help with product key errors on Office.com/setup - Microsoft Support ""Sorry, you've reached the limit" (ERR_SUBSCRIPTION_MAX_SPAN_REACHED)"

"You have reached the maximum number of Office products that can be associated to your Microsoft account

You can redeem up to 25 one-time purchases of Office 2019, 2016, or Office 2013 on the same Microsoft account. To redeem additional products, you'll need to create another Microsoft account. For more help, see Getting maximum number error when you try to redeem Office?"

PS: it is also worth bearing in mind that the more installations are associated with one Microsoft Account the more installations are affected should there be a problem with the Microsoft Account, and this forum has many complaints regarding Microsoft Account not working as it should.
