SharePoint "Replace" or "Keep Both" prompt missing

When trying to replace a file in a SP library, I get the below prompt "A file with this name already exists so we couldn't upload [file]. Add it as a new version of the existing file, or keep them both."

However, there are no dialog boxes/prompt with the buttons Replace or Keep Both as of last week. Where can I find the buttons or how can I replace my file (I need to keep all the metadata associated intact).

It turns out that the buttons were in fact present but the button text color was the same color (black) so I could not see the buttons. When I hover over the text, I see grey text. But without any hovering the text remains completely black so invisible with a black background. The text color corresponds to the same color used in the button "New+" on the screen. Second example is another internal site where I have green text.

This is my error, I have NO buttons for Replace or Keep Both:

This is what I should be seeing (this is a screenshot from a site (external to my company) where buttons are available:

What is the setting that is preventing me from seeing these buttons? I am the admin of my site so have all rights. My site has not been updated recently by the developer, etc. I have made absolutely no changes to my settings in the past week. It's only since one week that have I this new "display" black box prompt vs. previous prompt white dialog with Replace or Keep Both.

Microsoft please can you fix this? We should not have to change the colour of our SP sites to fix the bug. Many thanks

I have the same problem. I guess it has something to do with this feature: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-365/roadmap?id=489833

But simply changing to another color isn't an option for us. Microsoft, please fix this!
