    Dear Ravikumar Sheeri

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Regarding your issue, may I kindly ask what is your current version of Excel? Does this issue also happen on Excel online? Additionally, does this also happen if you use another device?

Also here are a few steps for you to try:

    1. Check Page Layout View

    • Go to the View tab → Click Page Layout.
    • Make sure the page number is visible in the header or footer section.
    • If it's not there, click into the header/footer and insert it:
      • Go to Header & Footer Tools > Design tab.
      • Click Page Number (or use &[Page] manually).
    1. Check Print Settings
    • Go to File > Print.
    • In the Print Preview, check if the header/footer appears.
    • If not:
      • Click Page Setup (bottom of the print settings).
      • Go to the Header/Footer tab.
      • Make sure a header/footer is selected or click Custom Header/Footer to add one.
    1. Check Margins
    • If margins are too small, headers/footers might not print.
    • In Page Setup > Margins, increase the Top and Bottom margins slightly.
    1. Check for hidden content
    • If you're using Normal View, headers and footers won’t be visible.
    • Always use Page Layout View or Print Preview to confirm.
    1. Printer Settings
    • Some printers have settings that suppress headers/footers.
    • Check your printer’s advanced settings or try printing to PDF to test.

Please give it a try and update for me to see if it works.

    Best regards,
