Requirements to access on premis SQL Server from DMZ box

Hi All,
We have installed a Self hosted integration runtime (SHIR) on a DMZ box, we have to use this SHIR to access SQL Server database (on-premises) , can someone please share the details as to what all needs to be checked for this to happen?
