Guest user authentication for SMB storage

I have added some Azure AD Guest users as SMB contributors for Azure Storage File shares but cannot figure out how they will authenticate when mounting/mapping on their hardware. Do they use Azure or our domain? And what username for their external address?

How are your non guest users mounting the share? Are you using on-premises Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Azure Active Directory Domain Services (Azure AD DS)? You might find this overview for authentication helpful.
