    Hi Jose,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the integration between Microsoft Loop and Microsoft Excel.

At present, Microsoft Loop does not support direct two-way synchronization with Excel. This means that while you can import data from Excel into a Loop table (for example, by uploading a CSV file), it is not currently possible to open a Loop component directly in Excel or to have edits made in Excel automatically reflected in the original Loop table.

If your goal is to bring Excel data into a Loop table for collaborative editing, you can use the Import Table feature in Loop:

    1. Save your Excel file as a CSV:
      • In Excel, go to File > Save As, and choose CSV (Comma delimited) as the format.
    2. Open your Loop workspace and create a new table component.
    3. In the table editor, click “Import Table” and upload your CSV file.
    4. Map the columns and import the data into the Loop table

This creates a new Loop-native table, but it will not maintain a live link to the original Excel file.

Microsoft Loop is still evolving, and many features including deeper Excel integration are under development. We recommend escalating the matter directly to Microsoft Support for further clarification and potential resolution. They will be best positioned to confirm whether this is an intentional change and advise on any available workarounds or upcoming fixes.

Since it's a user concern about a feature, Microsoft encourages users to submit ideas or feedback directly through Feedback Hub(you can follow guidelines in Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support), Microsoft Feedback Portal (Ideas · Community) or you can directly send feedback from within the app since many Microsoft apps have a "Help" or **"Feedback"**option in the menu.

We highly appreciate your suggestions for developing features in Microsoft products to provide better customer experiences. Once again, we're sorry about the incident.

I hope you find this helpful. Please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you need further assistance.

    Best regards,
