Teams powerpoint sharing video quality

When using teams as just audio and video - the quality is absolutely fine - everything is very clear.

However, as soon as I share a powerpoint, screen or document etc, the quality of the video feed simultaneously reduces and goes blurry/pixelated. The audio quality remains fine and the shared screen is very clear - just the video that reduces in quality.

As soon as I stop sharing the powerpoint/screen etc, the video feed returns to be a high quality.

If sharing the powerpoint etc starts again - the quality reduces - it returns to crystal clear when the sharing stops

There is therefore an obvious link between sharing the powerpoint, and the video feed quality simultaneously dropping, however we need to have both the video feed and the powerpoint/screen share available simultaneously.

Does anyone have any ideas as to a cause, and therefore a solution?

    @Dodd, Steve ,

    This should be related to your bandwidth.

    If you are an IT admin, it is suggested to use Network Planner to assess your network including bandwidth calculations and network requirements across your organization's physical locations. When you provide your network details and Teams usage, the Network Planner calculates your network requirements for deploying Teams and cloud voice across your organization's physical locations.

    You can learn from this article about how to use the Network planner for Microsoft Teams. Please pay attention to Build your plan and Create a report parts.

    Besides, there are some tasks can help you to optimize your network. You can read the Network optimization section in this document.

    We started encountering this issue. Does Teams dedicate its available resources to the presentation's vs the video.? We have personnel onsite that has severe video degradation when they share or anyone else on the call shares. Personnel off site use similar or same equipment through the VPN and their video does not deteriorate. The systems onsite are using some type of USB passthrough( Vaddio/InoGenie) devices on Cisco Codecs. WebEx does not have the same issue when presenting utilizing the same system setup.
