SfB 2015 pool with SfB 2019 pool

Question

For Skype for Business, is it supported to have:

• One Front End pool at one site is SfB 2015
• Another Front End pool at another site is SfB 2019
• Have pool pairing between them to allow failover and failback of the pools to each other

When you plan which pools to pair, please make sure you meet the following pairings requirements:

1. Enterprise Edition pools can be paired only with other Enterprise Edition pools. Similarly, Standard Edition pools can be paired only with other Standard Edition pools.
2. Physical pools can be paired only with other physical pools. Similarly, virtual pools can be paired only with other virtual pools.
3. Pools that are paired together must be running the same base operating system.

If your environment meet the above requirements, it is supported.
