We have recently started testing our applications for use with Cloudflare. We are encountering an issue with Explorer view as advised by our End User:

There is problem with Explorer View mode in Microsoft Edge browser. Users can open libraries and folders in Windows explorer but can not work normally in explorer. When users start working in explorer view, create folders, delete folders, upload files, etc. a number of error messages appears and the work of the user is blocked

    Hello Cynthia,

Welcome to Microsoft Community! The problem is likely occurs because Cloudflare’s security features can interfere with the WebDAV protocol, which Microsoft Edge’s Explorer View relies on. Cloudflare may block or modify WebDAV-specific headers, disrupt authentication, or cache responses incorrectly, leading to errors when creating folders, uploading files, or performing other operations.

Since this is a known compatibility limitation between Cloudflare and WebDAV, we recommend reaching out to Cloudflare Support for guidance. They may suggest:

    - Adjusting WAF rules to allow WebDAV traffic

    - Creating Page Rules to bypass Cloudflare for Explorer View paths

    - Whitelisting necessary headers and methods (like PROPFIND, MKCOL)

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions

    Best regards,
