I have managed google chrome in my organization and ADMX is configured.

In ADMX Block access to all URLs is configured and the needed ones are whitelisted through Allow access to a list of URLs.

Now post the recent google chrome update, I’m unable to export files from online excel as pdf however, when i downgrade google chrome application to a version back it works.

Does anyone know which URL is responsible for it?

Thanks in advance!!

Please help!!!!

    I have narrowed it down,

Upon removing the policy that blocks URLs it works, so there is a URL that is blocking the download but can’t find it under dev tools network tab.

    Can you please help

    Hello Shubham Bhutani,

Thank you for posting this issue on the Microsoft Community forum.

It looks like the recent browser update is preventing you from exporting files from online Excel as PDF, but downgrading the browser resolves the issue. Since your organization has ADMX policies configured, the issue may be related to a blocked URL that Excel needs for exporting files.

You can try the following steps to troubleshoot:

    • Try a Different Browser: Switching to another browser can help determine if the issue is specific to the current one.
    • Try Incognito Mode: Sometimes, browser extensions interfere with file exports. Using incognito mode can help bypass these issues.
    • Clear Cache and Cookies: Old cache files can cause unexpected errors. Clearing them might resolve the issue.
