Failed to add your ITSM Connection named 'X' Error: ajaxExtended call failed

I've searched for some tips on how to resolve this error and located a few threads on this forum, but with no clear answer or explanation as to the cause.

I have created a log analytics workspace and corresponding IT Service Connector. Afterwards I've tried to add a connection to my Service Now instance but upon creation I get this error:

Failed to add your ITSM Connection named 'SnowConnection'. Error: ajaxExtended call failed

Maybe someone can help to resolve this.

    Ensure that you have the permission. Also please check GetActivityParties is present in your webresource and you have tagged it correctly to this form.

    P.S. The Azure Bot Service engineering team confirmed that there was an intermittent disruption in the service causing bot creation failures.
