Standard_D2s_v4 supported NICs

Can anyone clarify how many network interfaces are supported on a Standard_D2s_v4 instance size? The documentation says 2, but when actually configuring a VM with that size, it allows 3. I tried adding a 4th NIC and it said the instance size only supports 3 NICs.

Anyone at MS that can clarify, is it 2 or 3???

    Hello @Aaron Hutchinson ,
Thanks for reporting this over Microsoft Q&A.
Tried testing with multiple VM SKUs and I was able to repro the issue only for that particular VM Size (i.e. D2sv4) . I just wanted to let you know that I am following up internally and let you know once I have an update on this.

    Regards,
    Shiva.

@shiva patpi Were you able to confirm how many NICs that D2s_v4 supports? I'm able to attach more than 2 NICs to this VM.

    Hello @Aaron Hutchinson / @Nate Anderson ,
Basically whatever is mentioned in the document are the right values for Max Supported NICs. For this specific SKU issue will fixed in the upcoming months (i.e. to allow only 2 NICs )

    Regards,
    Shiva.
