Dear Experts,

We have volume licenses and running Windows Education and Windows Pro Education on our clients' machines. I noticed a gap that some of the PCs will be prompted for feature update to version 21H1 but some PCs, even after checking for updates several times, there is no such option so the clients cannot go ahead with upgrading.

Any idea why this happened? And is there anyway that we can have everyone's PC displaying this Feature update option so they can upgrade on demand?
Many thanks in advance.

    Hello EavenHuang,

I think you defer feature updates, new Windows features won’t be offered, downloaded, or installed for a period of time that is greater than the deferral period set. Deferring feature updates doesn’t affect security updates, but it does prevent you from getting the latest Windows features as soon as they're available.

    1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update .
    2. Under Update settings, select Advanced options.
    3. From the boxes under Choose when updates are installed, select the number of days you would like to defer a feature update or a quality update. Note: If your PC is managed by an organization, you may not be able to defer updates.
