Hi sakuraime,
I’m not quite sure that setting MAXTRANSFERSIZE to 4MB when taking TDE database backup will get more benefit on the performance. Compression will significantly increase CPU usage. I think it is better to take tests with different MAXTRANSFERSIZE setting to find the right setting for your TDE database.
