Microsoft Authenticator giving 8-digit code (need 6-digit code)

Question

Please help! I recently switched phones from a Huawei to iPhone 12 (previous one broke). I used Microsoft Authenticator without issue on my previous phone, but ever since I've tried using it on my new phone, it gives me an 8-digit code when I need a 6-digit code.

In my search to resolve this issue, I have found answers saying to disable passwordless login, such as here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/155332/authenticator-produces-8-digit-instead-of-six-digi.html

I went to my Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ and it says Passwordless login is turned off (see image below):

However, on my iPhone it still shows Passwordless as being enabled (see image below):

In any case, I'm currently unable to receive the 6-digit code I need and am at a loss for what else to do.
