ParkMobile and Hotmail

My parkmobile app stopped using passwords. Instead, it now prompts for an email address and you are supposed to click the email to verify your account. However, the email takes hours to arrive to my Hotmail account inbox. I added @parkmobile.io to the safe sender list. It seems like the outlook server is “scanning” or “filtering” these emails on the backend before it gets to me. When I use my Gmail or yahoo account, the verification emails show up in 30 seconds.

The problem is not with ParkMobile since I confirmed the emails do come through using other email accounts. It’s just an issue when using my ********@hotmail.com account. Not sure why it takes hours for the email to finally come through- by the time the verification emails arrive to my Hotmail inbox, the link has expired.

Thanks. Since the Hotmail account had become unusable, I will contact ParkMobile and have them delete it. I will switch to a Gmail or yahoo account

    Hi there,

I'm Cherrelyn, and I’m here to help.

It sounds like Hotmail is delaying ParkMobile’s emails due to background filtering or throttling. Since Gmail and Yahoo receive them instantly, the issue is likely with Microsoft’s spam checks. You’ve already added @parkmobile.io to your safe sender list, which is a great step. Please also check your Junk, Other, or Clutter folders in case it’s being misrouted. Additionally, try removing and re-adding the address to your safe list and mark any ParkMobile emails as "Not Junk" once they arrive to help train the filter. Unfortunately, some delays are caused by server-level spam heuristics, which can't be bypassed manually. For now, using Gmail or Yahoo for time-sensitive logins might be the most reliable option.

I hope this will help and if you have any question please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.

    Warm regards,

    Cherrelyn
