- Open Windows File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealth
- Inside the SecurityHealth folder, look for SecurityHealthSetup.exe
- Right-click on SecurityHealthSetup.exe and select "Run as administrator."
- A blank window should flash for few seconds and then you can retry Windows Security again.
If the SecurityHealth folder is empty proceed as follows.
- Download SecurityHealthSetup_***.exe (Microsoft Catalog) and save to your Desktop or your Downloads folder.
- Right-click on SecurityHealthSetup_*.exe and select "Run as administrator."
- The Windows Security UI should work afterwards. If not, restart the computer, wait a few minutes for the system to initialize and check Windows Security again.
