Can anyone help in adding my university email account back onto my microsoft authenticator app?

I accidentally deleted my Microsoft authenticator app that I needed to log into my university account. I reinstalled and attempted to add the account onto the app. However, whilst trying to log in, it said I needed a code from the authenticator app that I was trying to log into. I then tried to use a QR code to add the account but needed a code then too. Is there any way around this loophole. Thanks

You'll need to university admins to reset the account for you.
