why is that when I send an email from the new outlook the display name is not used and the email address is used... the receiver sees the email address instead of the display name but when i use the classic outlook it is show just the way i would like it to be used,

    If the new Outlook shows only your email address instead of your display name, it’s likely because your account settings didn’t carry over fully. This is common, especially with non-Microsoft accounts (like Gmail) or if the profile name wasn't set properly in the new Outlook app.

    To fix it, go to Settings > Accounts > Email accounts, select your account, then look for the option to edit your display name.

    Or for Microsoft accounts, update your name at: https://account.microsoft.com/profile

    It works fine in classic Outlook because it uses your original profile settings. The new Outlook is still catching up with full personalization support.
