SharePoint List-Items that need attention

Hi Team

I've recently made some changes to certain columns and have made them mandatory on a SharePoint list.

I've gone into "Items that need attention" and for some reason I can't add in "Primary contact" column from my original SP list so I can extract this into excel and have the end users update their respective entries.

It wont allow me to extract it into excel either. The error I get is "An unexpected error has occurred. Changes to your data cannot be saved"

Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Harry

    Hi @Harry N Nomikos ,

Per my test, I can reproduce your issue in my end:

If some columns in your list are set by you and must contain information, then when the information in these columns is missing, SharePoint will prompt the user that these items need attention.

You could try to edit these columns and set "Require that this column contains information" to No, or try other operations after filling in the missing information.

    Hi @Elsie Lu_MSFT

I'll consider the above and do an extract and then revert it back to require information for those columns.

    Cheers,
    Harry
