After a recent Microsoft 11 update, Edge no longer displays. The Taskbar shows that Edge is open, but the display doesn't open.

The recommended actions don't work.

    Hi,

Could you please elaborate on what you mean when you said the display doesn't open for Microsoft Edge? If you can share a screenshot, that would be a big help.

This is what I get for Edge - shows that Edge is active but there's no window display.

Double Clicking on the Edge taskbar display does not have any result.

When I right click on this Edge taskbar display, this is what I get for options.

When I click New Window, this is the result I get.

Hovering over the new tab shows this:

Now I have 2 instances of Edge and still don't have a window display.

This is the same URL in Chrome.

Now Edge is working. I ran CCleaner and it removed a driver for Realtek Audio Assist.

It also cleaned up cached information.

After I rebooted my PC, suddenly Microsoft Edge started working again. It had nothing to do with how many displays I had open.

Thank you for the instructions for Reopen closed tab. I'll make a note of it. Since Edge is working now without using that command, I suspect that may not have been the issue.

Run CCleaner to review drivers that aren't working and clean up cached information.
