I’d love to see Clipchamp introduce a feature that allows users to animate images manually. This would let creators move, scale, rotate, or reposition a photo across the screen over time using keyframes or custom motion paths.

It would be especially useful for intros, presentations, memes, and visual effects—without needing external software like After Effects.

Suggested Implementation:

  • A dedicated animation panel with timeline-based keyframes.
  • Preset motions like “slide in from left,” “smooth zoom,” “spiral rotation,” or “floating effect.”
  • Real-time preview of the animation path and transitions.

This feature would make Clipchamp more competitive with editors like CapCut and Canva, and empower users of all skill levels to bring static images to life creatively.

    Hi Alexander,

I'm Sumit, here to help with your query on the Microsoft Q&A forums.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

The suggestion is good, but this is a user-user support forum.

I would recommend going to https://app.clipchamp.com, clicking the question icon, and then clicking the support chat button. This would route to a company representative.
