Azure SQL Database just went down

Azure SQL Database just went down

A database on mydatabaseurl.database.windows.net went down about 40 minutes ago. Availability shows up/down for past 40 minutes. Unable to connect thru Azure App Services or remotely via SSMS.

I was able to connect via SSMS by specifying 'master' as the database, but the user database will not load.

Is your database in East US? It seems there is an outage going on right now since a couple of other people have reported their database is down as well.

Thanks, I replied to someone else's thread. I had stated that there was a Resource Health issue listed, but now it says resolved, yet the issue persists.

Issue: Azure SQL Database just went down

Resolution: As mentioned earlier, your SQL database went down due to the East US region outage. Our internal team mitigated this issue, which is why your database is now back online.
