Hello Bhushan. When your laptop camera is not functioning correctly and it shows a "troubleshoot" message during video calls, the most common culprits are outdated drivers, wrong privacy settings, or conflicting app permissions. The first step is to check Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera, to ensure that your video calling app (like Zoom, Teams, or Skype) has permission to use your camera. If all is well here, go to Device Manager > Cameras > [your webcam], and update the driver. You should also apply any pending updates for Windows under Settings > Windows Update.
If everything looks good and the issue persists, try the integrated Camera Troubleshooter found under Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. If that does not resolve the issue, go ahead and reset the Camera app under Motion > Apps > Installed Apps > Camera > Advanced Options. If you have a physical privacy cover on your laptop, or a keyboard function key (like F8 or Fn+F8) toggle, check to make sure the camera is not disabled.
