Authenticator not transferred codes properly even after back up

Question

I bought a new phone and began the transfer in the Apple store. Once everything was transferred, I gave in my old phone and left.

I got into my outlook account and opened my authenticator to 'restore back up'. I had made sure the backup was updated prior to switching phones.

Everything transferred correctly apart from 2 instagram codes for my businesses. Now those accounts are asking for me to give them a my 6 digit code from the app, which isn't there and I am going round in circles.

There are no photos of me on these accounts, so I can't do the video selfie to recover my account and I don't have the instagram back up codes saved.

Should I backup/restore the authenticator on another device? (I don't have the authenticator on my ipad, but i can download it?) In the hope it may bring those codes back from the ether?

What if I fully deleted my authenticator? Would it wipe those 2 codes off too?
